From a very young age, Joe has been driven by his creativity. With outlets ranging from photography to sketching, painting, and graphic design, Joe has pursued multiple mediums to help refine his artistic capabilities. The path towards his now twelve-year barbering career began with an apprenticeship program he enrolled in while living in the Bay Area. He was able to gain several years of hands-on experience building his skills while working in various shops and salons in Northern California. After dedicating significant time learning his craft, Joe pursued and received his barber’s license from the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. This ultimately led to him relocating to Los Angeles, California to further his career.
Joe credits his artistic background for his natural ability to see all the possibilities of transformation. He views each of his clients’ hair as another canvas to collaborate and design with them. There are few things more important to Joe than the relationships and connections he has been able to make through his career as a barber. He deeply values the opportunities he’s been given to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The relationships he has built have developed into years of trust and respect from a number of clients throughout the world. Barbering has taught Joe to always pay attention to detail, remain receptive, stay open to feedback, and continue to be at his best while still improving. He looks forward to further expanding his clientele and knowledge through the creative platform of barbering while living in Los Angeles.
